![]() Insert the cable and place a 4mm NYLON/PLASTIC housing ferrel on end. Measure out about 50 inches of bulk housing. You should be able to pretty easily guide the housing out though the hole. Reach into the head tube and feel the housing exit hole. It will take a few wiggles of the housing to turn the corner under the shell and head up the downtube. Tricky part #1: The housing will want to snag on the internal seam between the bottom bracket and downtube. you can reach through the bottom bracket shell to ensure the housing runs underneath the shell. It may help to slightly crimp the end of the housing so it slides around bottom bracket shell more easily. ![]() Stop and review the instructions or contact your distributor, dealer or us.īegin at the chainstay with a length of housing almost as long as the cable itself. IF SOMETHING DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK RIGHT, YOU'VE DONE IT WRONG. ![]() Once you know the method it will cable up much more quickly and easily than other internal systems. The first time you do it, take your time. Note: the following procedure is accomplished BEFORE INSTALLING FORK and is run BACK TO FRONT. This allows for a longer-lasting sealed system with less drag than in other internally routed systems.
